Unhealthiness on the Rise
Worldwide, the prevalence of chronic, noncommunicable diseases is increasing at an alarming rate.
Chronic inflammatory diseases like Alzheimer’s, diabetes, cancer, arthritis and more are on the rise. Based on the flood of new cases every year, worldwide, new therapeutic measures must be considered. A promising avenue might involve the attenuation of underlying inflammation through natural and holistic health nutrients that feed your cells. After all, your cells determine your health.
Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, & Heavy Metals
Across the globe, over 50 million people suffer from dementia, and this number is expected to reach 152 million by the year 2050. Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) development, which is clinically manifested by progressive impairment in cognition, learning ability, memory function, and executive reasoning, is partially attributable to environmental factors, food intake, and stress to name a few. Heavy metals and toxins widely may contribute to AD pathologies by increasing neuronal oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis.
Cancer
Each year, the incidence of cancer is increasing globally. The American Cancer Society and other organizations estimate the number of new cancer cases and deaths in the United States and compiles the most recent data on population-based cancer occurrence and outcomes using incidence data collected by central cancer registries and mortality data collected by the National Center for Health Statistics. In 2023, 1,958,310 new cancer cases, and 609,820 cancer deaths are projected to occur in the United States.
International cancer data taken from Globocan estimates that cases will go from 19 million(m) in 2020 to nearly 29m by 2040. Cases will increase by 96% between 2020 and 2040 among low Human Development Index (HDI) countries, compared with an increase of only 32.2% in very high HDI countries. The number of new cases is increasing most rapidly in countries with a low Human Development Index (HDI). Nearly 2 million people may be diagnosed with cancer in 2023.
People under the age of 50 are becoming more likely to be diagnosed with cancer, according to comprehensive new data.
Cancer can have a significant impact on an individual’s likelihood of living a long life, as well as a life free of disability. It’s estimated that, globally, cancer caused 250m disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) in 2019. Cancer was the leading cause of DALYs in wealthier countries, compared with 10th in those that were less wealthy. As cases of cancer continue to increase in countries with a low HDI, increasing numbers of DALYs are likely.
What is HDI?
Human Development Index is a combined measure of how well a country is doing in the following categories:
- Life expectancy at birth – useful for determining whether a population/individual can live a long and healthy life.
- Education and knowledge – measured by reporting the mean years of education that a population receives and the expected years of education.
- Standard of living and financial wealth – assessed by how much a currency can buy compared with an international comparison – usually the US dollar.
Diabetes
About 18 million people die every year from cardiovascular disease, for which diabetes and hypertension are major predisposing factors. Today, more than 1.7 billion adults worldwide are overweight, and 312 million of them are obese (with 46% of all those affected in the 40–59 age group). In addition, at least 155 million children worldwide are overweight or obese. Two major concerns are that much of this increase in Diabetes will occur in developing countries and that there is a growing incidence of Type 2 Diabetes at a younger age including some obese children even before puberty. The United States Diabetes Market is expected to reach $28.27 billion by 2028. A diabetes epidemic has been and is fully underway.
In the United States alone, Diabetes is the 7th leading cause of death. There are mainly two types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2. Diabetes is a persistent disease that happens either when the pancreas has not produced enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively and efficiently use its insulin. According to the CDC, approximately 37.3 million Americans have diabetes – 11.3% of the U.S. population. More than half a billion people are living with diabetes worldwide.
The LIVE Style Factor
Diabetes is affecting men, women, and children of all ages due to the unhealthy sugar-laced, preservative-filled, fast-food, boxed “foods” marketed today, in every country. Numbers are projected to more than double to 1.3 billion people in the next 30 years, with every country seeing an increase, as published today in The Lancet, (the leading source of clinical, public health, and global health knowledge).
With this information at our fingertips, what can we do? We can make many LIVE style changes today.

- Workout
- Supplement with Nutrients for Cellular aid
- Eat as Organic as you can, making sensible choices that include lots of greens and veggies, and if you are a meat eater, best to choose organic/grass-fed, grass-finished. www.blackwing.com
KNOWING MORE: HUmic/Fulvic Acid, for HUmanity, HUmankind and the Planet
Traditional approaches to cancer – including radiation and chemotherapy – utilize dangerous toxins to kill cancer cells. And these treatments often have painful, dangerous and unpleasant side-effects.
Modern cancer treatments now attempt to harness the body’s own natural immune system to eliminate the cancer, or at least slow its growth and stunt its ability to spread. We were built with a natural immune system that is unparalleled. Research into a natural health approach – called immunotherapy – has shown improved survival rates for some cancers, including kidney and lung cancer. Recent scientific studies have shown that antioxidants are beneficial in immunotherapy for cancer treatment and prevention. Humates (Humic & Fulvic Acid Mineral), are nature’s most powerful antioxidants.
Medical studies have shown that “super antioxidants” like Humic/Fulvic Acid Mineral (multi-chain mineral nutrients) have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory aid. Humates are naturally occurring in the earth, where we come from and will return to. Our bodies were cast from the earth in perfection. What we do along the way will determine our health. Our body is the computer, our cells are the chips. Keep the cells (chips) healthy – the body is healthy!
Health Awaits: Naturally Occuring
Many use the word Fulvic Acid when learning about Humic/Fulvic Acid or the ingredient Shilajit. Humus creates Humic/Fulvic Acid, and this is the technical full name. Humic/Fulvic Acid mineral is naturally occurring, soil-impacted organic plant matter. Shilajit comes from the sides of mountains – blackish-brown powder exudating from Himalayan Mountain and rocks; in regions such as Afghanistan, India, Nepal, and Russia.
Fulvic delivers nutrients to cells; and studies show blocks tau self-aggregation, opening an avenue toward the study of Alzheimer’s therapy. In essence, Humic/Fulvic Acid is a nutraceutical product with many demonstrated benefits for human health. Considering the expected impact of these nutrients’ usage in the Western field, especially in the neurological sciences, more investigations at the basic biological level as well as clinical trials are deeply necessary, given the rise in disease worldwide and to understand even more how Humic/Fulvic organic molecules act at both the molecular and cellular levels and in the whole organism.
Messenger Molecules
What we do know: cancer cells have now been shown to produce oxidants that act as messenger molecules and send signals through protein pathways, bombarding surrounding cells uncontrollably with damaging free radicals. Studies show that certain super antioxidants work to obstruct the signaling protein pathways, that may potentially prevent or neutralize the spread of disease. Unique protein-inhibiting antioxidants block the necessary signals that normally allow adjacent cells to become diseased. Studies point to antioxidants as possible new anticancer treatment and prevention strategies. Humic extracts (Humic/Fulvic acids) are nature’s most powerful antioxidants.
Pharmacological studies throughout the world have shown that various mechanisms within the humic molecular structure make it both a donor and acceptor free radical scavenger and antioxidant. Humic/Fulvic’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant component aids health by obstructing the “signaling protein pathways” that allow certain diseases to spread. This prevents the disease from reproducing itself and spreading harmful DNA and RNA from the host cell to other cells. Put simply, reduction in inflammation in the body, which leads to ALL dis-ease, the antioxidants block the signals that enable dis-eases to spread to adjacent cells – effectively aiding in the neutralization of the spread.
Take Humic/Fulvic Acid on the Go.
Two Daily Boost Options for Mineral-Rich Cells And a Healthier LIVE-Style
What is a CELL?
The basic membrane-bound unit that contains the fundamental molecules of life and of which all living things are composed. Cells are made up of a positively charged acidic central core or nucleus, which is surrounded by the negatively charged alkaline cytoplasm. The components are separated by semi-permeable membranes. Each cell is a single structural unit that functions as a member of the total living organism. Once a cell dies, and eventually in the natural scheme of things, encounters the appropriate soil microbes, it will ultimately break down and turn into a humic substance. We are dirt (clay/humic matter) and water.
What is DNA?
Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is a molecule made of building blocks called nucleotides that contain the biological instructions that make each species unique. These building blocks are made of three parts: a phosphate group, a sugar group and one of four types of nitrogen bases. The four types of nitrogen bases found in nucleotides are: adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). The order, or sequence, of these bases, determines what biological instructions are contained in a strand of DNA. For example, the sequence ATCGTT might instruct for blue eyes, while ATCGCT might instruct for brown.
To form a strand of DNA, nucleotides are linked into chains, with the phosphate and sugar groups alternating. DNA, along with the instructions it contains, is passed from adult organisms to their offspring during reproduction. DNA is found in organisms called eukaryotes, inside this special area of the cell called the nucleus. Because the cell is very small, and because organisms have many DNA molecules per cell, each DNA molecule must be tightly packaged. This packaged form of the DNA is called a chromosome.
During DNA replication, DNA unwinds so it can be copied. At other times in the cell cycle, DNA also unwinds so that its instructions can be used to make proteins and for other biological processes. But during cell division, DNA is in its compact chromosome form to enable transfer to new cells.
What is RNA?
Ribonucleic Acid (abbreviated RNA) is a nucleic acid present in all living cells that has structural similarities to DNA. Unlike DNA, however, RNA is most often single-stranded. An RNA molecule has a backbone made of alternating phosphate groups and the sugar ribose, rather than the deoxyribose found in DNA. Attached to each sugar is one of four bases: adenine (A), uracil (U), cytosine (C) or guanine (G). Different types of RNA exist in cells: messenger RNA (mRNA), ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and transfer RNA (tRNA). In addition, some RNAs are involved in regulating gene expression. Certain viruses use RNA as their genomic material.
What is mRNA?
Messenger RNA (abbreviated mRNA) is a type of single-stranded RNA involved in protein synthesis. mRNA is made from a DNA template during the process of transcription. The role of mRNA is to carry protein information from the DNA in a cell’s nucleus to the cell’s cytoplasm (watery interior), where the protein-making machinery reads the mRNA sequence and translates each three-base codon into its corresponding amino acid in a growing protein chain.
WOW! DNA, RNA, mRNA, chromosomes, nucleic acid, nitrogen, alkaline cytoplasm – Yes, my friends, all are relevant parts that have determined what our biological structure has been CAST from.
Grab your snack and come on back for a little more…
What is Oncogene?
An oncogene is a mutated gene that has the potential to cause cancer. Before an oncogene becomes mutated, it is called a proto-oncogene, and it plays a role in regulating normal cell division. Cancer can arise when a proto-oncogene is mutated, changing it into an oncogene and causing the cell to divide and multiply uncontrollably. Want healthy cells, free from mutation, which is the cause of ALL UN-healthy aging and disease? Here’s where a healthy choice of food, exercise and LIVE style can help. Example of rapid cell mutation: A car going down a hill with foot on the accelerator pedal, pushing cells to divide again and again. Prior to mutation: a cell on its way to unhealthy works like a faulty brake in a car parked on a hill, also causes cell division/disease, don’t go unchecked.
What is a Virus?
Viruses are tiny infectious particles that are halfway between living and nonliving organisms. They are so small (a millionth of a millimeter) that it would take hundreds to thousands of them to cover the end of a human hair. Each virus is composed of genetic material wrapped in a protein coat. Viruses that infect plants and animals also have a layer of fat molecules. Viruses cannot reproduce on their own. Instead, viruses replicate by infecting a host cell (such as humans, other animals, plants or bacteria), hijacking the host’s biological machinery and turning the host cell into a virus-producing factory.
What is a Cytosine?
Isn’t it interesting that Cytosine is in the AMINO group – part of RNA, has a role and acts as a human metabolite? It is an aminopyrimidine that is pyrimidin-2, having the amino group located at position 4. Cytosine is an important part of DNA and RNA. It is one of the nitrogenous bases coding the genetic information these molecules carry. A compound in living tissue is a constituent base of nucleic acids. It is paired with guanine in double-stranded DNA.
Cytosine, as relates to amine and keto – is important, as amines, include amino acids. In organic chemistry, a “keto” ketone is a functional group with the structure R−C(=O) −R’, where R and R’ can be a variety of carbon-containing substituents. Carbon is in and from the earth.
Uracil’s are one of four different nucleotide bases in our RNA.
Guanine is one of four main nucleobases found in nucleic acids in DNA and RNA. Guanine is important to the structure of DNA and RNA. It plays a role in determining how genes will be expressed. The specific location of guanine and the other three nucleobases on the strands will determine what those genes tell the body to do. In DNA, guanine is paired with cytosine.
What are Purines?
A colorless crystalline compound with basic properties, forming uric acid on oxidation. Purines are a natural substance found in the body. They are also found in many foods, such as liver, shellfish, and alcohol. They can also be formed in the body when DNA is broken down. Purines and pyrimidines are both organic compounds that take part in the synthesis of DNA and RNA, therefore they are called the building blocks of the genetic material – DNA and RNA.
Purines are nitrogenous bases that make up the two different nucleotides in DNA and RNA. They also act as metabolic signals, provide energy, control cell growth, are part of essential coenzymes, contribute to sugar transport and donate phosphate groups in phosphorylation reactions. When the body digests purine, it produces a waste product called uric acid. When purines are broken down to uric acid in the blood, the body gets rid of it when you urinate or have a bowel movement.
The mineral, Molybdenum-contains enzymes that break down purines and sulfites in the body.
